Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual, ideally with experience in all aspects of project management, consultancy and advisory services to join our growing team. This vacancy is for a senior position therefore, the ability to provide support and advice is essential to help us develop our internal resources.

As a Senior Project Consultant at Market Infra Consulting, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality consulting services to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of the infrastructure sector. You will collaborate with clients to identify challenges, develop tailored solutions, and drive successful project implementations.

This role will enable you to gain insight and experience across the infrastructure sector and develop your business development skills. There are significant opportunities for you to build on your existing competencies, with a wealth of training and development opportunities available to you.


Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the consulting engagement.

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with client expectations.

  • Analysis and Assessment: Conduct thorough analysis of client processes, systems, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic solutions.

  • Solution Development: Collaborate with the consulting team to develop customized and innovative solutions that address client challenges, utilising industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.

  • Implementation Oversight: Lead the implementation of consulting projects, ensuring successful execution within agreed-upon timelines and budgets. Provide guidance to project teams and troubleshoot any challenges that may arise.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project progress, milestones, and outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders. Manage expectations and address any concerns in a proactive and professional manner.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within the market infrastructure sector. Share insights with the team and contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting methodologies.


Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, business management or technology is preferred

  • Proven experience in project management and consulting roles, with a focus on infrastructure.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficient IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and comfortable with numerical reasoning.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment.

Desirable

  • Project management certification (e.g., APM)

Experience

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a project or business management role, ideally in a consulting environment.

Remuneration dependent on experience.
